We were looking for a knife block when we found the tray. We could not find dimensions but took a chance on ordering. It turned out to be exactly what we required and keeps the knives sharp and within reach in a drawer. The dimensions are 9"w x 17"d.

FIts perfectly, A great solution for protecting your knifes if you do not want a big wooden block setting on the counter taking up space. The knifes are easy to retrieve and are out of the reach of small children. Deliver was on time and no problems at all I will order again.

 "Best knife tray ever" 2009-04-16
By Keepsakekeeper (Chicago, IL)
Strong, sturdy - made of real wood. This tray is heavy enough to stay put in the drawer - unlike those flimsy ones. Our quality knives are stored appropriately & they don't have to sit out on the counter in some bulky butcher block. Couldn't have asked for anything more. This is perfect.

 "Very Disappointed" 2008-12-31

I bought this knife tray based upon the reviews of others. How disappointed I was in the quality of this product. The tray was put together crooked so that it wouldn't even fit my kitchen drawers. Based upon the amount I paid for this product, it is of extremely poor quality.

"much better than last one" 2008-11-30
By Steph Plum
Had another knife holder that kept getting caught on the top side of the drawer when we pulled it out. We had to stick our fingers into the tiny opening and push the knife ends down to get the drawer open. Finally I got frustrated enough to look for a new one and found this. This is so much nicer! It fits in the drawer well, sits way down in it. The knives all fit in there even though none of ours are Henckels. I am very satisfied with this product. One less headache in my life!
