This is overall a nice set of knives, good weight and they don't bend too much. The price is the selling point here, Henckels International means "made in China or Taiwan" not Germany but overall it is a nice set. If you are the person who wants the German name this is not for you but if you want a knife that is sharp and ready to use every day, give them a try.

I like the knives and purhcased them because they "never need sharpening".

So far so good...LOL. But am disappointed that the knives have little baby rust spots after about a month of use.

This is a waste of good money, the construction is shoddy, they are not full tang, and they just plain look cheap. I wouldn't expect these to last very long, esp. w/heavy use. In any case, you can get better quality for the price. I got these as a "reward" at work. Yippee.

The knives are very sharp and the block for storing them is beautiful! I didn't realize they were all serrated so I'm trying to make my peace with that fact. Overall, I am satisfied and the price is very reasonable compared to alot of other sets.

I have owned these knives for over a year and i love the way they look on my counter. However they dont cut very well at all...i find myself using kitchen shears that I purchased in the dollar store to be working much better. Great for decor but bad for the person who actually cooks in their kitchen.

I ordered this set and was very excited because the price was very low compared to stores. It looks very nice and elegant and cuts very well. I love the serrated blades for tomatoes and onions which I chop a lot.

I used it for cutting chicken with bones - the handle becomes a little slippery when its held with wet hands. But I like the way it cuts.

On the whole good price and value and free shipping is the best.

I bought these knives about 3 months ago, and I love them! Yes, yes, they are all serrated, which is the reason I gave them 4 stars. I have never experienced "tearing" of my food, which some other reviewers have mentioned. Also, none of my knives have rust spots on them, but I have never put them in the dishwasher, and I wash them right after I use them.



Definitely worth the price!
